More common than both diabetes and heart disease, Thyroid Disease is a chronic issue that directly impacts more than 27 million Americans. About half of those suffering from Thyroid Disease have yet to receive a diagnosis. In addition, women are at a substantially higher risk for developing a thyroid disorder than are men.
