Treating Low-Income Patients for GERD

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease is a chronic disease often characterized by painful symptoms that can undermine an individual's quality of life (1). Over 18 million GERD diagnoses are made each year for this digestive disease that is associated with high direct costs to patients.
